Working downtown means countless, varied restaurant options within walking distance of your desk, as well as an abundance of coffee break spots. However, street food options are not easily available. Thanks to Malaysia Boleh Food Court @ Four Seasons Place, authentic and hygienic (non halal) hawker fares need not be deprived any longer.
It is becoming a favourite lunch spot for me and my colleagues, due to the varieties of food being offered, comfortable seating arrangement and air-conditioned environment. Our only gripe is the parking rate here: first hour RM 5, subsequent hour RM 4 on weekdays. Public transport is easily accessible so that would not be an issue.
One is spoilt for choice here. There are stalls offering KL Hokkien Mee, Penang Prawn Noodles/CKT/Carrot Cake/Oyster Omelette/Cendol, Ipoh Buntong Bean Sprout Chicken, Klang BKT, Kuantan Nasi Lemak and etc.
Some of my favourites are the CKT (RM 9 for small, RM 12 for big), Oyster Omelette (RM 12 for small,RM 15 for big), Pork Noodles (RM 9), Carrot Cake (RM 8 for small, RM 10 for big). Can’t compare to the real hawker fare but they were pretty decent to feed a hungry OL.
